We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information PRSM collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are under South African law (POPIA).

01Who we are

PRSM (“PRSM”, “we”, “us”) provides finance intelligence, decision modelling and strategy services to businesses. We are the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). 02What we collect

Through the enquiry form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, work email address, company name, the service you are interested in, and any message you write. If you contact us by email, phone or LinkedIn we also keep the details you share in those messages.

03Why we collect it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and run a discovery call, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our communications. We do not use it for unrelated purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked to hear from us.

04Client data

If you become a client, information about your business and your people that you share with us is handled under our engagement letter. We work inside your own systems and tools where we can, we keep only what the work needs, and we do not put your data into public AI tools without your written agreement.

05Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries, such as Netlify (website hosting and enquiry form handling) and GoDaddy (domain and email). They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

06Transfers outside South Africa

Some of our service providers may store or process information on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure the information receives a level of protection comparable to POPIA.

07How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Where the law requires us to keep records for longer, we keep them for that period. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

08How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage, unauthorised access and misuse, including access controls on our accounts and secure connections on this website. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

09Your rights

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct it, or to delete it. You may object to our processing of your information, and you may withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, email admin@prsmadvisory.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your information properly, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
